I read that you are from Canada, I’ve never visited there before but I read on a few blogs that there is a Fogal Island Inn, opened fairly recently on Fogal island, Newfoundland. I feel that the beauty is very similar to Iceland and the architecture is stunning. As it is in your home country, you might be interested.

Thanks! I am interested very much. As it is far less expensive to travel to Iceland than to Newfoundland from Western Canada, I haven’t managed it yet. The Yukon is closer, but that’s still twice the price.
what is the bldg. in the center photo? a school?
That’s a greenhouse, geothermally heated, near Grindavik.
Interesting, thank you. I can see it now.
Is the sun image a reflection or a sculpture inside the bldg.?
That’s a random effect of light angle and glass, I think!
Stunning, I also like to know what the bldg is.

Thanks! The beauty of Iceland is so unique, it simply oozes a dreamy understated elegance, you’re a very lucky man to be able to live there.
Ah, if I could only live there. I can only go back, and back, and back, as often as I can.
