You don’t need an expensive camera in Iceland. The sun is so low to the horizon that the atmosphere becomes your lens.
What you need to do is to place yourself in its way.
Forget the telephoto lens and the filters and your bag of tech. You don’t have time for that.
And don’t be mesmerized by your journey.
The sun and the earth and the air and space between them is your journey.
The mountains focus this light too.
So do you.
What else did you think you were on this earth for?
Well, it doesn’t matter. Iceland will focus you with its lens.
Just wait.
Be ready at any moment. This is not your journey.
Stunning, just stunning…
Worth putting on the dancing shoes for, eh! (Well, Solomon waterproof, steel shank, with German seam seal around the shredding soles!)
So beautiful, so beautiful and it is almost poetry. Fascinated me. Thank you, Have a nice day, with my love, nia
Iceland is so beautiful, I look forward to the upcoming posts of this wonderful blog.
Beautiful shots! I guess that when you live in an area with as much natural beauty as Iceland there’s no need for an expensive camera.
Indeed. I intend to follow up the post with one about how the place focuses attention as well.
